BKC 80% for Aquaculture

The success of aquaculture depends largely on the aquatic environment. When the pond water is polluted and the environment is infected by bacteria, much organic matter affects fish and shrimp. At this time, the pathogen can easily penetrate and cause diseases in fish and shrimp.

Therefore, improving the environment and disinfecting before, during, and after seedling release is essential for the success of aquaculture.

BKC 80% is an organic ammonium salt that has been used for a long time in aquaculture. BKC 80% easily enters the bacterial body and destroys the cell membrane, blocking the metabolic process of the bacteria. In addition, it has the ability to kill single-celled microorganisms, viruses, mold and control algae growth.

Limitations when using BKC.

1. BKC stimulates users. A strong odor that burns your eyes. Direct contact should be reduced. Gloves, masks, glasses, and other protective equipment must be used when using BKC.

2. Excessive BKC is easy to cause residuals in fish and shrimp. This will lower the price of fish and shrimp. Therefore, BKC needs to be stopped for 30 days prior to harvesting shrimp.

Precautions when using BKC.

1. Can not be used directly, must dilute the BKC, and then evenly sprinkle the drug.

2. It should be used at noon and under the hot sun to increase the efficacy of BKC.

3. BKC should not be used at the early stage of shrimp seeding (within 10 days). Because shrimp at this stage are weak and easy to be affected by BKC.
